The dangers our kids face: Are we making our children weaker?

What world is our kids being brought up in?  As a father I want nothing more than to protect my children and make things easier for them but at what cost?  I began to ponder this question as I now look at many of the attitudes reflected by nephew.

My nephew unfortunately has little to no ambition and why should he everything is given to him.  At the age of 16 his grandmother provided him an allowance between 50-100 dollars a week( the salary one may earn in a part time job).  But this allowance has been going on for years it just increased to the near 100 dollar amount once he reached the age of 16.  Again this is not his fault, but the question arises what incentive does he ever harness if money for the things he want is provided for him.

Okay you may think this is an extreme but in my neighborhood I had a 12 year old who wanted to cut my grass who owns an iphone.  The 20 dollars I paid him doesn’t even cover a portion of the bill his parents are funding.  But to make the matter worse even the little ambition the 12 year old did show to offer to cut my grass soon came to an end after two cuts.  He no longer has any interest in doing it.

On another note but keeping to the same point many of our kids have lost there inherit instincts for danger.  The term don’t talk to strangers has been thrown out the window with kids not noticing inherent evil.  My wife is terrified in our own neighborhood if my kids go outside and ride bikes with other kids and even playing in the back yard.  Of course she would not say it but the constant checking on them every 2 to minutes proves the point.

The notion of bike helmets and knee pads are in good intention but really for what?  My kid has to prepare for combat just to ride her bike or skate board common!

I for one are doing things sutley to rekindle the spirit of awareness with my daughters by telling them people can be evil and always be aware.  I am teaching them business concepts and the precepts of Biblical principles.  I intentionally cut off the air condition and ride with the windows down on some hot days.  We need to help our children but with balance and be sure not to diminish the inert characteristics of knowing danger and having ambition to do more.

The Dire Warning: “Heed the words of Pastor Lindsey Williams”

I am grateful for the advent of technology never would it be possible for me to prepare both spiritual, mentally, physically and monetarily.  With that said I had the privilege of hearing Pastor Lindsey Williams. For those not familiar with him he has the inside connection to the elite of the world for 35 years.  He sat on their boards since the induction of the Trans Alaska oil pipe line.

With God allowing him to have this unique experience he has outlined such warnings for the future that if you are not prepared will be dreadful.  I will outline 5 of the most prevalent so you can be sure to be ready.

  1. Prepare for your family and yourself spiritually.  If you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour this is first foremost and everything.
  2. Keep your health in order and watch closely the new Medical program created by Obama carefully.
  3. Get out of paper assets as soon as possible
  4. Purchase food and water and other supplies for you may not be able to afford them in the future.
  5. Finally and very importantly if you have not started purchasing silver or Gold now is the time why you still have a chance.

According to the pastors sources the game is power for the elite.  They have all the money the recent drop in silver and Gold was part of their plan to purchase more.  They only trust Gold and Silver.  Ultimately their game is to create a new currency backed by Silver and Gold in which they own the most of.  He also stated the Euro will fall, The Federal Reserve will collapse and America will default.

As Robert Kiyosaki states prepare for the worst all the time hoping that it will not be that way so you will be prepared for anything. The new money is knowledge as Kiyosaki states financial knowledge.   It seems Pastor Lindsey agrees as well.

The Entitlement Dilema”Why its more on spirit and not Social Security and Medicare”

As our politicians bicker back and forth like school children on whether or not should we tamper with the sacred cows our massive debts grow like a cancerous virus.  The problems with Social Security and Medicare is nothing new.  These programs were unsustainable when they were put in place in its inception under Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  It was just a matter of time once they were to explode.  Politicians don’t solve problems they push them forward to the next election.

With the exception of Ron Paul and his son there is few if any politicians who are willing to fight for liberty and stand for the constitution.  As the people have become desperate and look for the government to solve its personal problems; they inherently become weak and dependent as small infants waiting for someone to save and take care of them.

Oh what a danger!  Dictators were created under such dependence and neediness. Unfortunately this is what we have become and I am not sure we can change it.  I pray that we do not do anything foolish as these programs will have to be gutted into since the promise to pay the people comes at the cost of either hyper inflation or bankrupting the nation.

The problem is not Social Security and Medicare these programs were believed to be created in good.  The problem is and will always be the spirit of Dependence on man to solve our problems.  We must trust the lord and believe in him to help us.  Oh how sad we have become were people no longer care for others.  The people receiving it now are not bad people innate people they just been led a stray by believing you can get something for nothing.

I believe if you put money into something you should get the benefit.  But that is not the real world because even the amount that many put into it would not sustain them even if they put it into a savings account especially at today’s interest rates.  Politicians are high paid employees looking for power they have no creativity and can be bought at the right price.  Don’t get me wrong not all fall into this category but a great deal do.  They too want to keep their entitlements in which many of them don’t need it.

I am sick of deceit and lies and the spirit oh the spirit to win has been snuffed out by so many Americans.  Even many Christians have fell victim to entitlements.  I heard a youth pastor in my church claiming there is no retirement accounts and he was to inherit rental property from his mom and a size-able nest egg in cash.

We must reclaim the spirit that has been lost in America sometimes you loose but the object is to win.  May the lord save us from ourselves and turn back to him to reclaim the spirit of excellence.

My frustration: The Institution the Church has become!

I no longer enjoy going to church services. Wow even as I write this I am shocked to see how bad this sounds. But, I made a point once I created this site to be as honest as possible. I don’t enjoy going to church because I have lost my belief in God its quite the opposite I have been reading my bible and talking to him more than ever before.

I thought I had a relationship with him before but now since I am at peace I realized how much this was not a part of my earlier years as a Christian even up to about a year ago. Wow what a transformation to truly begin to trust him, which leads me to the title of  my post and what has caused me so much frustration.

The more I read my bible and seek the lord the more I get frustrated on the messages that’s presented by many pastors and the culture of the church as a whole.  At first I brushed it off and shut of my feelings believing I was just being critical and probably I was the one who needed to change.  The truth was I was changing I was awakening from my slumber of the routine of inept spirituality and apathy.  I was tired of the routine.

We have some serious problems on the horizon and the institution the church has become has dulled it’s senses to even realize it.  We and I say we to prove how guilty I was to contributing to this massive overlooking of the obvious.  How could I have been so blind to the needs around us and globally?

I pose questions to my fellow church goers and believers who many agreed with me but that’s where they left it.

Here is a couple just for thought:

  1. How can we justify 3 6-10,000 square foot top of the line church buildings in less than a 2 mile radius in areas where the crime rate is well over the national averages, and unemployment and poverty is ramp-id?
  2. If you constantly ask for donations tithes and offerings included how come there are no classes in the church on financial education and not just the antiquated getting out of debt and that solves everything schooling?
  3. If its all about the  missionary calling to disciple the world than how come 50-60% of the churches budget is not dedicated to this endeavour?

I am for one am sick of sitting on the sidelines with these frustrations.  I am not sure but as I redevelop my business and get myself more financially free I will dedicate my energy to solutions to these problems.  This will probably mean visiting each church locally and  abroad talking to the pastors and other staff who will listen.

America has some serious problems ahead and if the church aka God’s people don’t work and change to address these questions than how can we expect the world to.

A Fascist Communist State: How far we have strayed from the Constitution!

How far we have come from the Constitution? I sit and marvel of our liberties stripped from us all in the name of protecting us. How we went along with facist communist bail outs for banks, insurance companies and the like all to still be in a worse mess than ever before.

For too long my American brethren we have been comfortable in ignorance. We sit back and allow the Government both local and Federal increase in size and immorally look out for their best interest. We have become dependent on checks for social security, medicare, federal aid, stimulus packages and any other thing they can cock up in there minds in order to help us.

This is not freedom this is not what the constitution mandates but we accept it. We are to blame for this but we can do something about it we can listen to Freedom Fighters like Judge Napolitano
he has a show that comes on week nights on the fox news channel. I encourage you to watch his program I am also enclosing his book its a must buy if you are searching for freedom.

Our dependency on the Government is dangerous because they are addicts who specialize in redistributing wealth. They allow the fed to destroy us with there quantative easing and many politicians only serve their own interests. Where is the morals? When did it become acceptable to give money to and prop up the rich and incompetent.

We have to take a stand. I know it will be difficult to get back to the Constitutional values, that are supposed to govern this country but we must. This is the only way we will be able to survive. Again my friends think for your self get informed and get educated. I encourage you to read Judge Napolitano’s book and watch him on the fox news business channel

Parenting in the Information Age: Why the old way of doing things has no validity!

A common slogan that has been told to me is “In my day when I was a parent kids did____(you fill out the blanks)” or “When I was a kid and my parents said or done_______ we did_____(again you fill in the blanks). While these sayings are true and held merit for there time as each generation comes after they become less and less applicable.

As a parent now who has been born in the mid 1970′s I realize now none of the things I was accustomed to growing up has no applicability to my two daughters. As I wish my children had a sense of what is was like to know what it meant for stores to actually close and t.v. to actually go off they never will.

So if they are not going to know then my approach to raising my children must reflect the forefront of technology and the age we live in. I cannot leave anything up to chance. I now will have my daughters read the bible online and ask them what they think of the passage they read. This process continues with their education as well.

I stress the importance of financial education and this does not constitute just learning how to balance a check book. I teach them about what an asset is and a liability. I explain to them about GOLD AND SILVER. I teach the difference in investing for cash flow than capital gains.

My children will know about the dangers of drugs and the consequences of sex before marriage way before the school system pollutes their mind. In the generations of the past these topics would be considered taboo or they would just expect children to find out about money sex drugs on their own and only approach their parents when they have questions about it. Way to late I take a premptive role in everything.

In the information age my belief in Christanity is lived by my actions my daughters see me read and I read to them. We pray together. Now of course some of these practices were done by parents in previous generations but it wasn’t done for me. I learned alot of things on my own. I now discuss these things with my dad and explain to him how ill equiped I was for the real world in so many areas.

The bible I read and believe says the older population should teach the young a practice that has been long gone. Its a shame our political leaders and even religous leaders are poster boys for infedelity, corruption and selfishness. But truthfully they are not the fault they are a symptom of a much bigger failure in our society in which the family structure is a farse filled with divorce and fathers not being men .

I pray now to be the best I can be allways learning and adapting to the age we face. I leave nothing open for chance with my daughters. I admit them my failures when I loose my temper. I teach by example reading and studying and spending time. I am tough but constantly reinforce with love. In the information age information is important so I need to be more vigilent and keep up with things to be effective. The new laziness is not be willing to change. I will not let this define me.

The old way of doing things have changed but the principle of excellence should still live on. I instill this factor in my girls and work harder to see the results in myself.

We don’t want change! Why they won’t elect the ohorable Ron Paul!

I was dissapointed as I wathced the political commentary and the likely hood of the chances of

RON PAUL to be elected. I guess I should not be surprised we live in a population that does not want to believe in change. We rather live an illusion where its logical to spend millions on entertainment and elect individuals who work for the same instutions that enslave us.

We willingly do this we brush over the fact that 45 million people receive food stamps who have employment but the insidous crime of inflation erodes our purchasing power. We live in a society where churches annual savings budgets can employ hundreds of workers but rather be utilized to create larger buildings. The baby boom generation that has most of the wealth in America are retiring and we don’t have any population coming after them to support the money they will need.

We don’t want freedom in which Ron Paul promotes. Freedom from government control in every aspect of our lives, freedom from the tyranny of the Fed who control our money supply. Freedom to depend on God and not look for something or someone to take care of us. No we don’t want change we want security. Unfortanatley we will not get security if we are not careful we will get tyranny.

I pray my fellow countrymen wake up to the fact that we have to depend on God and allow him to take care of us. We have to think for ourselves and take care of ourselves. Communities and churches people will unite to function by what the market will dictate not crony capitalizm and handouts. I hope we will awake to the ohnorable Ron Paul who recently has had some bad press becuase of acqusations of Racism in which he is not.

He is for freedom and there is a price for freedom. Maximum security is a jail cell in which we are headed to if we don’t begin to change our views on what government local and federal are allowed to do and take.

The deep love of my daughters: Why I will not willing damage then by traditional means of higher education!

Not to long ago I got in discussion with a friend or better yet an associate about saving for my daughters education. He asked me have I heard about a popular savings plan that was advertised on tv I am not sure of the name but I think it was the 501k whatever.
I politeley told him no I hven’t heard of it and no I was not saving. His response was epic. He bolted out with such a sense of urgency you thought I committed a crime. His exact words “Why” “Why” ” Don’t you know they cannot be successful without a college degree”. “You just have to you have to save for them you graduated from college”.

Although his feelings were in the right perspective I believe his belief on higher education to become successful is a fallacy. In fact I think its actually detremental to their success. I know for the majority of the American population this goes against every thing they have been taught.

I am speaking for one who has obtained a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Economics not as one who has not gotten the sacred 4 year degree. I graduated with a combine debt of 15,000.00 which is miniscule to the amount of what a 4 year degree costs now. For my personality and work ethic I would have been better off studying in the library and as the age of technology changed on the internet.

A college education is an industrial age idea that has run its course. The brain washing it put on believing I was entitled to a high paying job which did not come in my first two years out of school was a detriment more than anything. Now I know what you might be thinking that my case was not the norm.

Many people who do or have attended are doing fine now. I beg to differ in 2008 with the market crashing many people who once had promising careers were laid off with high loans and now cannot receive the income they once did since jobs do not pay the wages of post 2008′s great Recession. What makes things worse many people are going back to get additional education to look for employment.

I find this ironic since there is still a huge lack of jobs. What is needed is entrepreneurs to create employment. Instead of learning how to think and create a college degree teaches you how to be dependent and to be needy. It has taken me years to get re educated and to think with real skills for the real world.

My education and the education I stress for my girls is for financial education. A subject that is not taught in school of any level of education. I have been an entreprenuer for 10 years and although the last 3 of them have been at times unbearable I am more prepared for the future than many of old college classmates and other peers hoping someone will give them employment.

I also don’t believe in saving a currency that looses value for my daughters to become indentured servants. I am sick of the time I wasted and the life style I bought into because of the degree I obtained. This is an added negative that is not really talked about. No I will not damage my child with pushing higher education.

I spend money on education monthly with new courses in internet marketing realestate, food production stocks, trends and precious metals. I would rather pay for my daughters to learn how to be farmers or engineers if I was going to have them learn anything in working for a corporation.

But even then with the internet that probably is a waste of money. No I will teach them to continue studying as I do. I will teach them to give employment as I have done and will continue to do. I will teach them to bring opportunity to bring income to individuals for investments as I have done. I will teach them to think for themselves in which I have done for the last 10 years since I gave up the dependence for someone to give me employment.

No I will not willingly hurt my daughters by traditional means of higher eductation. Get financially educated visit sites like

Saving Dollars: A lesson in financial insanity!

As I watch the dollar plunge in value and gasp in such pittiful rates of return posted in banks for cd’s, money market accounts and the like I am dumbfounded why people still believe in saving dollars. It makes no sense to willingly save something that continues to fall in value.

Don’t get me wrong having some dollars or currency on hand is neccessary. However since money has not been money since 1971 it’s insanity to save it. Go down to your local coin shop and buy silver. Silver is now on the top list of metals that there is a shortage on. Besides that fact it has been money since biblical times. Save silver they can print it and it is rare.

In order for you to survive in the upcoming future we need to change our context of what money is and this begins with getting financially educated. I have dedicated a whole site to increasing financial awareness go to http://www.actualrealmoney.com. I just can’t sit back and willingly put myself or anyone I know perform acts of financial insanity. This is what your doing by saving your money in instruments predicated on the dollar.

I find it dishaeartning that the people who are in the worst positions financially the poor and the middle class are the ones who are in the dark on everything financially. I make it my duty as a father and a husband to take care of my family this begins with giving them a sound education on financial history and what money is. More to come on this subject in the future.

Higher Education: Who’s really intelligent my sister did not pay for the degree she’s getting!

I know this sounds like a bizzare title for a blog post. I could not think of anything else to express my frustration with our political leaders and there policies that cripple the country economically. None more riddiculous than there new stand on getting women back to school. I can see many faces frowned as I write this. I am neither sexist or a basher of higher education. I support and encourage both but not at the extent of adding another nail to the coffin of the countries debt burden.

My sister who practices as a nurse is now getting her bachelors degree to become a registered nurse. A noble and encouraging endeavour. I applaud her and the thousands of women who are now finishing there degree or getting a new one. I disapprove of tax revenue fitting the bill and not for the usual cliche that goes along with any government welf are policy. You know the old pick yourself up by the boot straps speech this has no bearing when bailouts are now for the rich, incompetent and corrupt.

My problem is the underhanded after effects that harms the people that it is supposed to be helping. What I am refering to here is the insidous tax of inflation. With every free program given out by our government the consequence is a weakening of currency our dollar. No one really asks where is this money come from to afford this expenditure.

They print or should I say digitize it and now the cost of everything goes up. This does not even take into consideration of the thousands of individuals who have school loans that they struggle to pay for each month. So who is really intelligent the individuals who now get there education for free or the rest of the masses who paid for theirs.

I hate to be synical but there is no way on God’s green earth will I save for my two daughters to get a higher education when their Aunt has gotten it for free because of an economic downturn. I will not teach my children to be a cog on some ones wheel.

I am and will teach them foremost to have a relationship with there maker and to get there higher education in financial education which is pivotal in an information age world. For the thousands inluding myself who paid for the degree this is our financial update our fu. Who’s the fool we should of waited for our government to pay for it.
